I presume data review is the first step when data is being reviewed and entered into the system. Once this is complete it goes into the black hole called In Process and remains there until your case is actually picked up and acted upon .... i.e. until your case enters the Certified or Denied state.

Recently we had been to India trip( Jan -Feb 2010), we also had expired H1 stampings but valid H1B.
You do not require Transit visa if you are passing through Frankfurt.

If she entered without inspection she will have to process her green card in her home country unless you can get a waiver. But if she came here legally and her I-94 expired you may be in luck. You will have to file I-130, and I-485 for her. You will also have to submit I-130 for her son who will apply for an immigrant visa in Nicaragua. You may want to talk to an immigration attorney who will be in a better position to direct you on this.

Also this forum is mainly targeted at employment-based immigration and you may not get answers here for a family-based immigration issue.

Hello All,

I am travelling in June to India, during that trip I have to stamp my H1B visa at Mumbai or Delhi. Does any one has a recent experience at Mumbai consulate about visa interview? Does anyone knows current acceptance percentage at Mumbai or delhi consulate? Is it safer to travel in the economic crisis?
At the same time I have heard some rumors regarding rejection at Port of Entry is that true. Anyone from this group has faced such situation?

Me and my husband(primary applicant) filed our I 485, I 765, and I 131. Recieved by USCIS on 06/29/2007. our lawyer recently got our reciept nos. my husband got a notice saying FP fee rejected and has been asked to re submit the fee,when, in fact all our checks have already been cashed.all of my notices say case recieved and pending.my question is ,with my husband's case in suspense, will my application be also with held or will USCIS go ahead with my application.
