We still in negotiation. not come to a stage where EAD has been asked for. i am wondering what else could they ask for other than EAD like do they need to provide any proof that they will sponsor my green card or do i need to file AC21 in advance.

As far as i know, it is not possible. because your friend's I-140 was approved already, based on which I-485 was applied.
He can change an employer and shall not be any issue as long as the job description is same.
That doesn't equate to a situation where an employer can invoke I-140 before it's approval & use the LC for someone else.

I've found this site to be very helpful so far and would like to ask for some opinions on my case.
My I-485 (EB2) was submitted in 2007 and the PD is approaching, only 5 days away based on June's VB. My girlfriend is currently with F-1 visa and we are planning on getting married asap so that she can submit her 485 before my case is approved.
Here's the complete list that I can think of based on the research that I've done.
Documents that my future wife's need prepare
I-485 form
birth certificate
marriage certificate

passport pages (I-94 card ect)

My wife is on H4 and she is studying Masters and we already have EAD. She would like to do Internship and she still has 6 months to graduation and my question is
1) Is there any time restrictions for people to do internship (with GC based EAD)
2) After graduation, can she still continue with her internship (using EAD ofcourse) ?
3) If Yes for question 2, then for how long after graduation she can be an intern
Apreciate if someone can give feedback on this.

Remember to point it out at FP, and they will also ask you to phone USCIS and correct it. You could phone USCIS first, and then you might find that FP has it already corrected in the computer.
Once USCIS update it they will send you a letter to say that they made a change to the file, this is just FYI.
My wife's DoB had a typo. It was spotted at FP office.
Of course I am assuming some obvious typo, not a FP notice for Jim Smith and your name is Ramkrishnan Singh. :-)
or Ramakrishnan Bhatti. LOL.. that example was hilarious. (reddy, murthy, prasad) would have been closer.

There are plenty.. but they cost money... and usually quite a bit. 3D designers think that they have some specialy skills or something. I've not yet found any free ones.. the one's I have seen run upwards of a couple thousand dollars.

Is there any way that we can get the USCIS to update their Aug 2007 bulletin and write on top of it and the July bulletin was valid till Aug 17th.
That way any officer who would check the Aug 2007 bulletin would first see the update and go by the July bulletin instead of rejecting I-485's in a bunch which cause additional hardships to the applicant in getting it reopened via MTR and again going through the long process.

I applied for the visa lottery while my EB3 I-485 was pending and while waiting for the priority date to be current. I won the lottery and got my green card and the two are COMPLETELY UNRELATED. Good luck with the visa lottery, for me, it saved my sanity!

I was checking the availabiltiy of dates for H1 stamping and came up with following question..
Are you applying for the same class of visa which is currently valid or has expired within the past 12 months?*
My wife came to USA on H4 and recentlly moved to H1.... We are planning to get her visa stamped...now my Q is same class of Vsia means any H visa like H1,H4 falls under H class of Visa...

I was with couple of Big 5 consulting firms. Its good to work for them to add some weight to your resume. But I feel they really dont care for employees let it be immigration, comfort feeling, value to the employees etc.
So make terms clear before joining.

My wife got a job offer on contract basis for 3 months. I am on h1 and she is on h4 so far. I am planning to stay on h1 itself. If my wife accepts this job using EAD, Does my status also changes? Is it okay if she dont find a job after this contract expires, what status she will be in during that time, h4 or EAD?
