Regardless of the incorrect forum to tell about yourself, your story has serious flaws.
you are just telling us your side of a photoshopped story.
Even after you are here illegally, you can correct things and take a legal turn. there are so many cases where people who have overstayed or crossed over illegally, got themselves deported and or brought themselves out of the closet and applied and got their citizenships.
Also, bcos you spent 30 years in the country, you should be given a priority over a kid from your country who kept applying for a green card lottery every year, trying to enter the US legally?
to make matters worse, you stayed illegally in a country and did not follow the rule of law.

Today I�m fighting for my USC Immediate Relatives� rights from my country. How many of you high&mighty can say that? Probably never will too. You�d have to walk in my shoes and from my view none of you except for 24ps can fit them, though sledge_hammer might have to learn how to walk in them. He/she sounds a lot like me in my smug and cocky drug peddling and trafficking days. Clue, sledge_hammer: The key to expertise does not lie in what you do but in how you do it. With a comment "ooooo". I want the IV admin's to find out who that coward is and ban them from any and every board that is out there on internet. If they don't do it, I will be so scared of posting any of my thoughts in future as that person will come and give me more red , depriving IV of a valuable member.

The bill text says there is NO fee and the applications need to be processed expedited.

Hope they don't pass this bill and kick us back by 5 Years.
I don't see a relation between Obama saying ..... Cisco, Intel, Ebay started by Immigrants and DREAM. Those Immigrants he is referring to are from India/China and DREAM are from Mexico.

It looks like NC was completed. "Requirement review" means that they are trying to determine whether your marriage is still valid after all these years... Do not take it close to your heart, I found out that the USCIS letters are not very credible.

Not a fan of AZ law, but I'm delighted that it has pushed immigration issue to the forefront, forced federal govt's hand and jolted it out of its inaction. Many a battles will be won/lost over immigration in Nov 2010 elections.

Filed at NSC on July 2nd 2007. Got EAD/AP approval notices and receipts/transfer notices from CSC last week. No FP notice yet.
There are several in my company in the same situation..NSC->CSC and now CSC Xfr'd back to NSC. No one has rcvd FP notice. I think August 17th filers at NSC are ahead of us now and we are at the tail of the queue one more time.
The only advantage of CSC transfer is if you need EAD/AP desperately. if you don't then it's just bad luck.

Don't know if this would be of any help to 3-year degree holders or not, but World Education Services (WES) has recently changed its policy- it now considers 'selected' Indian 3-year bachelor's degree as equivalent to a US bachelor's degree. WES is a very well-reputed evaluation company.

Just Thought
There is 200k application without 140 approval, this is including july filers.
there is lot of chnace for those who got their I-140 approved, even their PD '2006.
you can see people getting approved PD'2005 EB2 cases, even then VB says now 2004'apr for EB2.They are not processing based on PD now and in future also i gues.Since we have already filed.PD will restrict only to File I-485 in future.
I think EB2-jan2007 and EB3-Aprl2005 in October VB

Ok, I've seen a lot of threads about go to the rally, actions items, I've reading a lot of guys saying dont ask for your receipt status, dont waste your time etc, etc.
Yes we did the rally we were great with all those signs, and appearing in the Indy TV but...
Question remains open:
1. When are they going to increase the GC quota?
2. When congress id going to do something?
I've the feeling that that's it we made our point but we are still with no GC, waiting receipts..............

Hi all,
Now H1 period no longer counts against H4 period. As H4 is allowed to do volunteer I work, I had taken up few Volunteer Projects and done some Open Source Projects for keeping my Skills updated.
Is it advisable to put all these expeience in resume, while applying for a new H1B or only professional experience should be shown on the resume.

Lets keep pluggin along and try to think of creative ways to encourage people to come to the rally, In my opinion the most emphasis should be place on recruiting the east coast members to show up for the rally, guys please talk to people and educate them of this effort any one with any sort of clarity of thinking will be able to clearly see that they are the direct benificiaries of this, there are so many people who are putting in so many hours of their personal time to make this a sucess the least other can do is take part in it.

I don�t think he will have any standing against you in court of law. If you have ur documentation strong then nothing to worry. He is just trying to give you hard time. Even if he does so take him to all levels, I am sure at the end of day you will not loose anything but he may get burned by this. All the people who crib about red dots: There is nothing IV can do about it.
This is a feature of the forum software.If some one uses foul language in forum posts then admins can warn them or block them. It is not possible if they do it in comments.
Actuallly, I suggest IV kickout anyone who cribs about red dots or that someone is using foul language in PMs/comments.
Keep the eye on the ball guys. If you see all the bullshit the IV admins bare with some other guy showing up every few weeks asking questions as if IV Core is getting rich off of the contributions. And some other guy shows up with a great plan (no sarcasm intended) asking CORE to make his thread sticky instead of keeping the thread on top by bumping it every few hours or so.Then when the core doesn't respond to their idea/request to make the thread sticky start abusing them. They take all that in stride and still continue to pour their hearts into something they believe in.
Now here are people so worried that they got a red dot and need the grievance be addressed. If not they will be afraid to post. If all it takes some one to stop you from posting your ideas is to give a red dot, how can any progress be made?
