I need an iBook for my school work (my PC is too big to carry around :P ) so I am getting rid of my PC and DS (I don't play it anymore). I am selling the PC for $520 and the DS for $120. You can probally talk me down in the prices (not too much :P ). Here are the items.
DS:
Silver color (minor paint scratches on top case,no scratches in plastic.)
3 games (Asphalt Urban GT, Nintendogs, Metriod Hunters demo)
2 Nintendo cases
5 Styli
AC charger
Origonal box for the Metroid Demo and its manuals
PC:
Japense gaming case (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811156018)
AMD Athlon XP 2700+ T-bred core (OC'd to 2.4 ghz. runs at ~45c after 3 hrs of Quake 4 ON HIGH)
ASrock mobo
512 megs of DDR-400 ram
ASUS 6800XT
6 gig HD (can't upgrade the HD now...Have no cash :( )
DVD-ROM
Windows 2000 pro
VERY FAST
I will also take a trade for an iBook (NO powerbooks unless it is a G4). I am located in Eugene, Oregon. I will ship ANYWHERE (you just pay shipping :D )

Most packages for consumer products are designed for one of three purposes:
1) To improve the packaging of an existing product;
2) To add a new product to an existing product line; or
3) To contain an entirely new product.
I want to know what type of packages you redesign?

Problem is the fans on this model are on the base, try keeping it off the floor
This happens on my MBP too with little else running. Skype really is probably the problem.

I guess the eventual goal would be to make it more prominent and linked from various areas (macrumors, macbytes).
For now, this gives you all a way to turn it on/off.

Do you have SHSH blobs saved for 4.2.1. If you do then upgrade to 4.3.1 and save your SHSH blobs and then downgrade back to 4.2.1 using your 4.2.1 blobs.
This makes absolutely no sense. Even from 4.2.1 you can save your 4.3.1 blobs.

That easy? I thought I would be something more complicated...thanks for the help!
nope. headless computers are literally that- normal computers that have been beheaded. the only issue to overcome is how to manage it without a screen to look at (or presumably a keyboard or mouse to input with), and vnc does a great job of that.

Preserve it in case you want to go back to 4.2.1 - the newest baseband isn't 100% compatible with older firmware. 4.2.1 is great as it doesn't have the "glitchiness" of 4.3.x

The iMac is getting ready to be refreshed. Should be sandy bridge processors. The mini will follow, since it uses the same parts, not long after the iMac. Your decision will depend on what your going to use it for.
The mini does not use the same parts as the iMac to be pedantic. The mini uses MBP parts. The iMac uses desktop parts.

my current ipod has a bunch of song on it that I ripped from cds (okay, and a few illegal downloads). However, that was two computers ago, so I'd have to re-rip the music, provided I still have it.
I can't seem to add the ripped stuff to my itunes on my current computer. I think it has something to do with copy rights, but it could also be b/c I don't know enough about macs.
Is there some way I can transfer those songs to my iTunes? I've heard that some people (like really smart fanboys) know how to do it.
What file type are the songs? If you were able to get the songs onto a CD, im sure you could put them into itunes.
1. Put the CD in
2. Select the CD on the sidebar in iTunes.
3. Select "import from CD"
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1473#1
BTW, You dont have to be a "fanboy" to google. Don't label us.

I am looking for 30 pin memory for either a LCII or a mac IICX thanks! could you PM me your zip code so I can figure out shipping? thanks
Hey-
Zip code is 14052. Just ship whatever is cheapest, time is no object.
The 30-pin I have is from a Mac SE/30. Would that work?

There are also G4 optimized builds of Camino here (http://www.rpm-mozilla.org.uk/index.html). A 1.33GHz G4 iBook would use the "7450" build.
