I did post about this. We have seen professor's expert opinion letters showing the equivalency to the MA being approved. However, the evidence does point to an equivalency to a BA.

How can CA/ICWA be equivalent to MS programs as they are post high school courses? These courses do not require graduation for admission.

No matter how bad an employer is, one should inform before quiting...atleast one day in advance!
Bring IRS in to picture, let them deal these kind of cases...U should be OK in getting W2
Don't worry about losses and cases, it will cost him more if he gos to court.
He sent me an email to pay $3500, do you think he will go legal for this, I did not sign any contract with him.
If he goes to court will i loose(he may create documents) or will i be in trouble if he wins the case.
Please suggest.

May Visa Bulletin is out. EB3 ROW and Philippines seem to have moved by 1 year.
Even bigger news is that "Other Workers" have become Unavailable for the whole world.
It furthers strengthens the theory that good number of 245i's are EW category and not in the regular EB3 category.
This hypothesis is further supported by the fact that all EB3 dates have been sustained above May 1st for a few months now.

Filed at NSC on July 2nd 2007. Got EAD/AP approval notices and receipts/transfer notices from CSC last week. No FP notice yet.
There are several in my company in the same situation..NSC->CSC and now CSC Xfr'd back to NSC. No one has rcvd FP notice. I think August 17th filers at NSC are ahead of us now and we are at the tail of the queue one more time.
The only advantage of CSC transfer is if you need EAD/AP desperately. if you don't then it's just bad luck.

I received a letter from uscis/DHS on Jan 28.
It was in response to my request about my wifes I-485 being in namecheck for a long time.
The response stated:
"The review of our records indicate that the investigation into your background has been completed. The processing of your case has been delayed because the requirement review is still in process."
Does this mean that the namecheck has been completed?
What is "requirement review"?
Did anyone else get this type of letter?

Interview Date - Jan 4 2006
Type - Family based ( on marriage )

I received an RFE. But it was on accreditation of my MBA school. There was no RFE on bachelors degree. My lawyer replied to the RFE on accreditation. In response, there was straight denial without even notice of Intent to deny citing 3 year bachlor degree.
Yes, we submitted education evaluation along with I-140. The evaluation was done by Trustforte. When we received the RFE on accredidation, we sent second evaluation from Trustforte but this time a detailed course by course evaluation of MBA.
In the evaluation that was done, the evaluator equated my Indian MBA with US MBA and there was no mention about bachelors.
Please advice if I need to do something different this time.

The status on USCIS site chagned from initial receipt to approved and sent after about 105 days of receipt notice. I hope I recieve it next few days. I had applied to Dallas lock box - paper application.

easyvishwak, there is a common disclaimer in any of the internet forums that you take the information with a pinch of salt. people post their experiences, whether to follow or not is totally your call. Labor market has no influence on EB1/2 ROW. Look at DHS historic data (core should look at that as well), EB1+Eb2 ROW is well above 70K every year, even in 2000 recession. My understanding is that they are athletes, managers, PH.D. which rarely change by economic condition. Also past DHS data showed over 10K india EB2 2008. That could be the max we can get per year

As already reported if SJC can send their bill on March 27, their bill would replace the bill braught by Sen. Frist. We all know that Frist bill is more positive than Specter mark? Should we start sending faxes to SJC to include identical EB provisions as Frist bill in SJC bill also?

No, only allows people on H4 for more than 6 years to get a H1B of their own for 6 years or until their spouses EAD/GC's arrive.

There is no freedom and especially education in India. in US even if you are a 60 year old you can join a university but in India things are different
What do you mean? My father was an engineer and he started his Bachelor of law at age 58 in 1996 in India, after retirement. regular college, which only 10% pass out off.
Again never compare Canada with India, India is Unique and I am not putting my Motherland on Trash, You are in a way doing that, by comparing it with Canada and USA.
I'm only comparing the economy and education not the culture.
STOP religious Conversion and propoganda all over the world all the countries will live happily.

The first thing you should understand are most of these conversions are started by foreign organizations and their followers, and conversions by force or by paying money should be stopped immediately.

What propaganda is this? The american overseas pursuits are not related to religion.
There are some rogue organizations here, who run this as a business, with profit/loss, and they need to be monitored in India. They surely have branches there too.
