Hello Friends,
My current AP expires on 2/18/11. My PD (EB-2) has been current since Sept 2010 but no sign of GC yet. I would like to renew my AP and have decided to file myself Vs using the attorney. Has anybody used the e-filing option OR is it better to send in a hard copy of the application.?
If somebody can kindly direct me to the appropriate links on IV for folks who have filed themselves - i would greatly appreciate that. Any advice on supporting documents, etc. would be really helpful.

Also you could shoot up the small band market. Thats how I got started. I was managing bands then they asked me to build their websites. Go to a local club or venue on local band night and hand out your card.
The nice thing about bands is that are willing to push the limites on what one can do with flash and webdesign in general.

Question: I did not turn in my I-94 when I left the U.S., what should I do?
Answer:
If you returned home with your Department of Homeland Security Form I-94 (white) or Form I-94W (green) Departure Record in your passport, it means that your departure was not recorded properly. It is your responsibility to correct this record. You must provide U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sufficient information so we can record your timely departure from the United States. Whatever the conditions put for immigration number of people to work in USA is increasing. Yearly there is 20 to 30% increase in F1 Visa for past 3 years . And 130k H1b applications also tells the story. Still USA is topmost market for India and China. USA depends on India and China. But opposite also true(India and China dependent on USA). The change of equation unlikely for many decades. Many European countries and Gulf countries are giving temporary visa and no green card. Still huge demand for working in those countries. 1) I have heard from someone that there is a statement on their website that the transit visa is required only if the stay is more than 10/20 hours.
2) Where do they check for the transit visa? is it done while boarding into the airport in US or while entering into the German airport? If they find that we don't have a transit visa in Frankfurt airport, what would they do?
Please answer to my questions, this is really needed for me to act on getting the transit visa.

Does she have EAD? If not on H1, she needs to be in EAD. (or other status like F1 etc). Otherwise she is out of status. In that case, H1 will be denied because an H1 application while out of status will lead to denial.

I did a very similar thing.
My h1b expires in sept 07, and an extension was applied in april 07. My PD became current in June, and I applied for AOS with AP and EAD.
Approval for my H1B extension came through mid June (after AOS application) and only for 1 year (as opposed to 3 if my PD was not current).
I now have AP approval and EAD is still pending, but I'm planning on using these to travel with when fully realized.

On reading a bit about PIMS, it seems that if your information is not in the KCC, then the US consulate sends a request to Kentucky for information. It turns out KCC has access to the CLAIMS3 system used by the USCIS, and they generally respond in 48 hrs. Here is the link:

We got married in a temple and returned the license to the County Clerk's office.
We can't mention martial status as married due to family reasons.
We are fine applying with martial status as single independently since both of our PD is current now.
Will they find this discrepancy martial status during background check? I'm unsure whether these will appear in the background check in the first place.
Please advice.

It is better to contact a attorney or other relavent family/marraiage law counsulars. It is very important. USCIS treats if vigorosly this issue, as marriage realted fraud is very high in immigration benefits, particularly in FB catagory.
We got married in a temple and returned the license to the County Clerk's office.
We can't mention martial status as married due to family reasons.
We are fine applying with martial status as single independently since both of our PD is current now.
Will they find this discrepancy martial status during background check? I'm unsure whether these will appear in the background check in the first place.
Please advice.
