Thanks for the heads up! I think I'm actually going to Target first . . .I've heard that some targets have started handing out vouchers already. Hi all,
I need a "cheap", read inexpensive, GSM qwerty keyboard cell phone for my mom. I was going to go on eBay and buy a Blackberry Curve 8310, but then saw it requires a data plan with AT&T. I would like to avoid a mandatory data plan requirement, since she'll never use it.
I just need good audio quality and text messaging.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

still wipe and do a clean install just because it cant hurt.
the best way it to buy an external hdd and just copy and paste your data (thats what i do) or make a time machine back up
your itunes question is very easy actually copy your entire itunes folder and library to the new external drive.-> go into itunes on the MBA-> go into preferences and advanced you will see where it shows your itunes media folder location click change-> and remap it to the external driver you can only access it while plugged in but it will save a lot of space.

I am looking for a high quality screen protector for my iPhone 4 what will cover the entire display from Edge to Edge.
Recently I received one from Boxwave and it did not go all the way out to the edges of the glass. As a result the protector and the edge of the case that overlaps the side of the phone, interfered and the protector edges curled up.
Also I don't want to mess with water or solutions needed to install the protector. That's one of the reasons I chose Boxwave, as it goes on dry.

A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.Yup, I was really surprised when I started using a headphone amp for the first time. Its a powerful difference.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Have you plugged your hd650's into a mbp? How did it sound?

They both sound way too expensive for the specs involved. You should be able to find a DP 2.0ghz Powermac G5 for around $200-250 these days. An iMac G4 should not sell for over $100 imo, unless its the rare 20" model.
If you are short on cash but still want some power, look towards the higher end Powermac G4's. A DP 1.25 or 1.4ghz powermac will outperform the SP Powermac G5, and can usually be had for about $150.

Hmmm... the low lite thing is a little troublesome, as I plan on mostly recording my and the guys I play with on gigs. Sometimes the lighting's not too great.
I wonder if the Zi8 is any better? Similar feature set but without the waterproofing.
They don't really give much specific information about the lens on the Zx3 on the Kodak website...

What exactly does the apple video adaptor adapt? I've been looking for something to connect my macbook to an external monitor.

i think you guys are overestimating how bad the lines will be. For the iPhone 4 launch, i got there at about 5 with the store opening at 8. I was within the first 200 or so as well. I highly doubt the iPad line will be as long as that of the iPhone, but I guess we'll see.
